Dr. Zebold was born and raised in Darien, Il before venturing off to Ohio to complete her undergraduate studies at Miami University in Oxford.  She returned to Illinois to obtain her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois in Urbana. Since graduating, she has worked as a small animal general practitioner in the Chicago suburbs honing her skills in low stress patient care, soft tissue surgery, and ultrasound. She is passionate about providing high quality care to all pets and focuses on a team approach with the pet parents to achieve that. Dr. Zebold has special interests in both behavior and shelter medicine and enjoys mentoring new graduate and early career veterinarians. Over the years, Dr. Zebold has also developed a strong bond with many senior pets, including her own, and loves to help them age gracefully. 

Outside of work, Dr. Zebold enjoys gardening, home improvement projects, spending time on the water at her grandmother's lake house, and relaxing with her rescue pittie, Briggs. She is also an avid Bears and Cubs fan and strives to get as much quality time with her 3 nieces and 1 nephew as possible!
